Comments: Jess came into care when her owner became homeless. She had been brought from a farm in Wales by the prvious owners parents as a gift for their son. Jess is a really clever girl and you can tell she is from working stock as she tries to round up our other 7 dogs. I want her to go to an obedience/agilty/flyball type home as she will need type of activity to keep her mantally stimulated. She also needs an experienced Collie home as she can be a handful if you're not used to Collies. She needs work on the lead as at the moment she is diving at passing cars etc. Saying all that, Jess is a really pleasant dog to have around, and with the right person training her, I think she will make a wonderful companion and hopefully a good working dog.

Contact: Valgrays BC RescueTelephone: 01883 624513 or valgrays@hotmail.co.uk
Comments: Bonny was born in February, 2008. Bonny is a collie x springer (a Sprollie) .. She has a fab nature, loved by and loves everyone but is just to much to handle for current owner. Bonny will probably suit an agility / trials / obedience home - as she definately needs a 'job' to do! Cannot live with cats.

TRIXIE 'reserved'XB5 monthsBlackYesMicrochippedNoWarlingham, Surrey
Contact: Valgrays BC RescueTelephone: 01883 624513 or valgrays@hotmail.co.uk
Comments: Trixie is yet another pound dog. She is a little petite collie x lab, around the age of 5 months. She is smooth coated with a lovely black shiney coat and a dab of white on her chest. She has the most wonderful nature you could wish for, excellent around dogs and cats not bad with the horses, and is a little gem. But now to her down point at some point this year she has had a rear leg broken, don't know how or really when, but for sure she has not had any medical attention to it, so it has healed with a bony lump and she limps The vet has said that in time (with walking and building up muscle) her little leg should be ok. She is also a ittle bit overshot but that does not bother her eating at all. She is first vaccinated, wormed, flea'd and chipped. Trixie will require spaying when a bit older. We would prefer Trixie to go to a home with another dog as she does love doggy company. So in this nation of dog lovers, is anyone out there willing to give this little girl a chance in life - we saved her - its up to you .. can you lead walk to help build her up, can you give her the lovely and attention she has so obviously been without so far? From the pound to us - she now certainly deserves that chance in life to be happy - please consider Trixie ...

SOLBC8 years ishtri colourYesMicrochippedNoEast Grinstead, West Sussex
Contact: Valgrays BC RescueTelephone: 01883 624513 or valgrays@hotmail.co.uk
Comments: SOL has a very hard working life, his teeth have been broken or rasp down. His working life is now finished so out he went to the pound. His coat was terrible so been clipped off. He is around 8 ish but what a lovely sweet boy. He is all snuggle in a warm fleece coat tat the moment. Sol is currently being fostered in East Grinstead and here is wording from fosterer: Sol is very calm and subdued at the moment. Not too phased by the other dogs, he is friendly with them, but mainly ignores them, tells them off when they are annoying him! He is fine with people and is very waggy. He seems to be fine with my children too. Will know more about him in a few days when he has settled in.

DYLAN 'reserved'BC8 monthsTri ColourYesMicrochippedYesWarlingham, Surrey
Contact: Valgrays BC RescueTelephone: 01883 624513 or valgrays@hotmail.co.uk
Comments: Dylan is simply yummy! He is 8 months old, a tri colour, vaccinated, wormed, flea'd and now microchipped (not yet castrated). Dylan has a superbly wonderful nature, he is fabulous with kids, dogs, people, travels well, loves playing and is very focused on toys. This boy is ALWAYS on the go and is not a collie for the faint hearted! He definately needs to be doing something; agility, flyball or obedience. Dylan will NOT be a couch potato; he will be too much for a home where he won't be given a 'job' to do. Apart from that he is totally stunning, with simply gorgeous eyes ... if you are interested in a new competition dog, please phone now, we are sure he won't be around long!
